3G is continuing its rollout across the nation, with major carriers expanding their coverage. AT&T, Verizon, and Sprint have all announced plans to bring 3G to more markets in the coming months.
This expansion of 3G coverage is good news for customers who want to take advantage of the faster data speeds that 3G offers. With 3G, you can do things like browse the web and check email faster than you could with a 2G connection.
If you’re in an area that doesn’t have 3G coverage yet, don’t worry – it’s likely that your carrier will be expanding its coverage soon. In the meantime, you can still enjoy the benefits of a fast data connection by using a Wi-Fi hotspot.
